Privacy & Integrity

We design how we handle your information the same way we design performance: deliberately, not by accident.

This page explains what TAG collects when you visit tagaps.com, take the Performance Architect Assessment, or work with us directly — why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

TAG helps leaders replace effort with architecture. We hold ourselves to the same standard with your data: visible, intentional, and accountable — never collected, stored, or shared as an afterthought.

  • We do not sell your personal information. No exceptions.
  • We do not chase you. If you tell us to stop, we stop — immediately, and for good.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways, depending on how you interact with TAG.

Performance Architect Assessment

First name, last name, and email address. Submitting only generates and sends your personalized report — nothing else happens automatically.

Resource and guide downloads

Name and email address. Submitting only delivers the asset you requested.

Ongoing insights (optional)

Only if you check the separate, unchecked “send me occasional insights” box on either form above — this is the only way you're added to any mailing list.

Standard technical data — pages viewed, browser and device type, referring site, and approximate location from your IP address — is also collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

We do not knowingly collect financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this site, and we ask that you not include such information in open text fields like message boxes.

How we use your information

  • To respond to you — answering a contact request, scheduling a consultation, or following up on a question about our services.
  • To deliver your assessment report — scoring your responses and generating the tailored Performance Architect report, and sending it to the email you provide.
  • For a one-time follow-up — if you request a consultation or complete the assessment, a member of our team may reach out once about your results or how we might help. This is a personal, one-time outreach, not an automated marketing sequence, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To improve the site and our content — understanding which pages and Insights articles are useful, and where the site is confusing or broken.
  • To meet legal and security obligations — protecting the site against abuse, and keeping records where the law requires it.

How we don't chase you

“We don't chase people” isn't just a tone we aim for — it's how the site and our marketing are built:

  • We do not run third-party retargeting or behavioral ad-tracking pixels (the kind that follow you around the web with TAG ads after you visit).
  • Opting out of marketing is one click, and it takes effect immediately — not "unsubscribed from this list," but a real stop.
  • We do not re-enroll you in a marketing sequence after you've opted out or gone quiet.
  • Completing the assessment or downloading a resource does not, by itself, put you on any mailing list. Only the separate, unchecked opt-in checkbox does that.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that let us operate the site, deliver the assessment, and run our business — each bound to use it only for the purpose we engage them for:

  • ScoreApp — hosts and scores the Performance Architect Assessment and generates your results report.
  • HubSpot — our client relationship platform, where contact and assessment details are stored so our team can follow up appropriately and avoid duplicate outreach.
  • Hosting and email infrastructure providers — the technical services that keep tagaps.com online and deliver transactional email, such as your assessment report.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of TAG or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we'd expect any successor to honor this policy.

Cookies

tagaps.com uses a small number of cookies. When you first visit, you can choose Accept all or Necessary only from the banner at the bottom of the screen.

  • Necessary cookies keep the site functioning — remembering your cookie choice, and supporting basic navigation. These are on regardless of your choice, because the site can't work without them.
  • Performance and analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, only if you choose Accept all.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and reloading the page, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings directly.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and assessment information for as long as it's useful to our relationship with you and as required for legitimate business, accounting, or legal purposes — then we delete or de-identify it. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, see Your rights below.

Individual assessment responses are never shared, sold, or attributed to a specific person. We may use aggregated, anonymized results for analysis or content about what we're seeing across respondents — never tied back to you.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to systems that hold your data, and vetted service providers — to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but protecting your information is treated as a design requirement, not an afterthought.

Who's accountable

TAG's Privacy Officer is responsible for how this policy is applied. To reach them, use the Contact page or email us — no need to know a name, just say your message concerns privacy or this policy and it will reach the right person.

TAG is operated by [legal entity name], registered at [registered address].

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of marketing communications — every email from us includes an unsubscribe link, or you can contact us directly.
  • Withdraw consent, where we rely on consent to process your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@tagaps.com or use the contact page. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

TAG works with clients in Canada, the United States, and Colombia, so the sections below set out the specific rights that apply if you're located in one of those countries, in addition to the general rights above.

Canada — PIPEDA

If you are located in Canada, TAG handles your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its ten fair information principles — accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use and disclosure, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and the ability to challenge compliance. If you're in Quebec, TAG also observes the requirements of Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Under this framework, you have the right to:

  • Know why TAG collects, uses, or discloses your personal information.
  • Access the personal information TAG holds about you, and be told who it's been shared with.
  • Challenge the accuracy and completeness of your information, and have it amended where appropriate.
  • Withdraw consent to further collection, use, or disclosure of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
  • Complain to TAG about how your information has been handled, and escalate to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information) if you're not satisfied with our response.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@tagaps.com.

United States — including CCPA/CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you rights over the personal information TAG collects about you. Residents of other U.S. states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights under their own state's law.

TAG does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where U.S. state law applies, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information TAG has collected, used, and disclosed about you, and for what purpose.
  • Access a copy of that information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information TAG has collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — though as noted above, TAG doesn't do this today.
  • Non-discrimination — TAG will not deny you services or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@tagaps.com. We will not charge a fee to respond and may need to verify your identity first.

Colombia — your Habeas Data rights

If you are located in Colombia, the processing of your personal data is additionally governed by Ley Estatutaria 1581 de 2012, its regulatory Decreto 1377 de 2013, and the other rules that make up Colombia's Habeas Data framework. Under this framework, TAG acts as the Responsable del Tratamiento for the personal data it collects through tagaps.com and the Performance Architect Assessment, and only processes your data once you've given prior, express, and informed authorization — for example, by submitting a form or starting the assessment after seeing this policy.

As a titular of the data, Colombian law gives you the right to:

  • Know, update, and rectify your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you gave TAG to process your data.
  • Be informed, upon request, about how your data has been used.
  • Revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data, where this isn't overridden by a legal or contractual duty on TAG's part to keep it.
  • Access free of charge the personal data TAG holds about you.
  • File a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) — Colombia's data protection authority — if you believe TAG has mishandled your data, after first raising the issue with us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@tagaps.com. Requests (consultas) are answered within 10 business days, extendable by 5 more if needed; complaints (reclamos) are answered within 15 business days.

Children's privacy

tagaps.com and the Performance Architect Assessment are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

As TAG's tools and services evolve, this page may change with them. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make material changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Questions about your data?

If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to exercise any of the rights above, we'd rather you ask than wonder.
